1. APPLICATION OF POLICY 政策的适用
This Policy is based on the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”) and all the associated regulations and guidelines, which may be from time to time issued by the Personal Data Protection Commission (“PDPC”) of Singapore.In using or continuing to use our website and/or services from any SBL entity, you are deemed to have read, consent, accept and consent to the provisions of this Policy and use of your personal data for the purposes stated herein.

2. COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA 个人资料的收集

For the conduct of SBL operational needs, SBL may request you to provide your personal particulars, which include but are not limited to the following:b. Residential address and contact details, including telephone number(s), mobile numbers(s) and/or email addresses;
c. NRIC, passport or other identification permissible by law;
d. Bank account details, employment, and education background;
e. Photos, film, closed-circuit television (“CCTV”) and/or video recordings of you;
f. any other information provided to us in any forms submitted to us, or in other forms of interaction with you.

3. USE OF PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED 如何使用收集的个人资料
SBL currently uses your personal data for purposes not prohibited by existing applicable law, which are to:a. Process and respond to your requests and queries;
b. Send you information, updates and publicity information and activity materials in relation to our programmes and activities;
c. Conduct statistical or demographic analysis;
d. For administration purposes, due diligence and background checks in accordance with legal, regulatory and professional requirements; and
e. Allow us to use in any other purposes for which we have obtained your consent
We shall not use, disclose or process your Personal Data for purposes which are not stated above or for which we have not obtained your consent. If we wish to use, disclose or process your Personal Data for another purpose we will seek your prior consent.
Note: For 3 (b) above, you have the right to opt out of receiving such publicity information. You can do so by sending us an e-mail at dpo@sbl.org.sg. If you do not exercise your right to opt out of receiving such publicity information, you will be considered to have consented to receiving such publicity information and we may continue to provide such publicity information to you.
居士林目前将您的个人资料用于不违反现有法律之处，即：

4. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA披露个人资料
All personal data held by SBL shall be kept confidential. Before disclosure of another person’s personal data to us, you must obtain consent from that person for both the disclosure and processing of the personal data in accordance with this policy. Failure to obtain consent or ensure completeness of data may result in refusal of services requested.居士林所持有的所有个人资料应予以保密。在向我们披露他人的个人数据之前，您必须获得该人的允许，以便根据本政策披露和处理个人数据。未能获得允许或确保数据完整性可能会导致所请求的服务无法被执行。

7. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA 保护个人资料
SBL protects personal data against loss or theft, as well as unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use or modification with security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the personal data, regardless of the format in which it is held.Online security is also a priority and SBL incorporates security to protect personal data from unauthorised use, such as firewalls and other security software to protect its servers and networks from unauthorised use, access and tampering of files and other information we store.
居士林保护个人资料免遭泄漏或被盗取，以及未经授权的访问、披露、复制、使用或修改等，并实施保护个人资料敏感性的安全措施，内容涵盖一切形式的个人资料。

8. USAGE OF PHOTOGRAPHIC AND VIDEO MATERIAL TAKEN AT SBL PROGRAMMES AND ACTIVITIES SBL 节目和活动中拍摄的相片与视频素材的使用
SBL takes photographic and video material of participants at programmes and activities. In registering for a SBL programme or activity, you acknowledge that we may include images of yourself intact or in part for material used in various publications, promotional activities, or other related endeavours.
